GUIDED TOUR IN PEIPSIMAA MUSEUM INTRODUCING THE OLD BELIEVERS

During the guided tour in Peipsimaa Museum you’ll learn how and why different objects like a headscarf, a saucer, etc. were used in the culture of old believers. You’ll also learn the difference between various samovars and how to brew tea in a samovar. In addition, we’ll cover the peculiarities of old believers’ kitchen and their traditional food. We’ll also talk about world-famous iconographer Pimen Sofronov who was born in this village, and his work.
Attention – the price of individual museum tickets will be added to the price of the guided tour.
